After dating for a long term of three years, the real-life sweet couple Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain finally tied their wedding knot on December 14. The royal wedding took place at the Grand Hyatt residency of Mumbai. The couple has been enjoying the pre-wedding festivities since a week prior and kept posting pictures to update everyone. It was a great awaiting moment of suspense for fans and followers and all were very excited to see the final wedding look of the couple. And there they go, it’s finally there, The Wedding Pictures.
1. A Twinning couple
Unlike other brides, instead of the red traditional color, Ankita chose to wear a golden shimmery lehenga with stonework all over it. She carried a matching see-through golden veil with it. Her jewelry was a contrast with her dress and she opted for uncut white stones in two-layered neckpieces- one was a heavy choker and the other one was a layered necklace falling down her torso with matching earrings. She added a lightweight mattha Patti and a round Nath. She paired it with white stoned bangles and white kaleere. The couple wore Manish Malhotra bride-groom outfits.
2. Kanya Daan
Vicky Jain was seen twinning with his bride. he wore a golden embroidered sherwani with white dhoti with white sehera with a green pagadi kalangi over it. The couple captured the moment of performance of Kanya Daan where the bride and groom’s hands are washed in a container with milk and then the blessings of fathers are given to the daughter for her new beginning.
3. Adorable glance
The couple posed for the camera post the ceremonies but cute candid moments were captured during the wedding rituals. This candid picture of Ankita looking at Vicky is so adorable and it is showing the love she carries for him through her glittery eyes.
4. Vows for lifetime togetherness
The couple promised each other a lifetime of togetherness and vowed in front of the sacred fire and the enchanted Hindu mantras. They promised to be with each other through all the thick and thin of life. They ended it by vowing, “Until death parts us!”
5. Happiness at its peak
The wedding ceremonies were fulfilled with all the sanctity of Hindu ceremonies. Everyone enjoyed it and the couple was extremely happy to be officially together for the rest of their lives.
6. Gold and Glittery
Ankita opted for a golden lehenga and her makeup was matching with her dress. She applied a golden flawless base along with golden shimmery eye shadow. Makeup artist of Ankita did a golden facial glow mask which added extra radiance to the bride’s face.
7. Traditional rituals performed
The couple was married in a very orthodox Hindu traditional way. They started the rituals by praying to God and thanking him for the blessings. The couple stood up, folded their hands together, and enchanted a Ganesh mantra, and then the further wedding rituals were conducted.
8. 7 pheras for 7 lifetimes
The bride and groom took 7 circles around the holy fire, vowing to each other at every complete circle(phera). The seventh phera ends with the promise of being each other’s soulmates not only in this lifetime but in the next 7 and many more to come. They held hands throughout this procedure.
9. Princess walk on the aisle
The grand entry of Ankita Lokhande was a pause moment for everyone. Sho looked so beautiful while walking down the aisle and it was almost impossible for everyone else presents there to take their eyes off her. It all went well and finally they’ve started their forever-together journey. Happy Married Life to the lovely couple.
