Chloe Bennet is an American actress, singer, and model. She is best known for her role as Daisy Johnson/Quake on the ABC spy-fi series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bennet was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Bennet Wang, an investment banker, and Stephanie Crawford, an interior designer. She has six siblings, four of whom are adopted. Of her four siblings, two are African-American, one is Caucasian, and one is Chinese. Her parents divorced when she was four.

Bennet attended St. Ignatius College Prep, where she played soccer and ran track. In 2006, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

Bennet’s first acting role was in the film The Night Is Young (2010), in which she played a high school student. She has also had roles in the films Lions for Lambs (2007), Marvel’s Girls (2014), and The Diamond of Jouf (2015).

On television, Bennet has had guest roles on the series Elementary (2012), Nashville (2012), and Shameless (2013). In 2013, she was cast as Daisy Johnson/Quake in the ABC series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bennet has also appeared in music videos for the songs “Never Without You” by Billy Unger and “I Didn’t Mean It” by The Decemberists.

Bennet is of Chinese, English, German, Irish, and Welsh descent.
