Iconic Red-Carpet Looks From Cannes Film Festival 2022 – Day1

A Roundup Of Celebs Who Nailed  The Red Carpet At Cannes

We all know that, apart from film screenings, Cannes is also known for the gorgeous outfits and fashion statements that have been featured on the red carpet. Every year, celebrities from Bollywood to Hollywood make sure to slay red carpet fashion goals with their sartorial style at Cannes. This year too, the French city has been on a spectacular streak with celebrities dazzling the red carpet. Apart from celebrating global cinema, Cannes as always gave us some memorable fashion moments.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, made two appearances as a jury member yesterday. She started her day in a Mysore silk flower printed shirt from the Tropic of Calcutta collection, formal green flared trousers, which were kept tight with a Bengal trophy brown belt. To complete her look, her stylist Shalina Nathani chose a Lucknowi rose necklace, mini circular earrings, a bandana, and embellished platform heels.

Deepika Padukone stuns her look on the red carpet of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Sequins made a great debut here as the striped gold and black saree was teamed with a strapless blouse. Deepika wore a retro look in a bling black and gold striped Sabyasachi saree, which seemed to take inspiration from the Bengal tiger. The look was completed with ‘Julia Fox’-like make-up, headband, and statement earrings.

Styled by Shaleena Nathani and assisted by Simran Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia rocked a monotone green pantsuit from Bershka and rocked her full force with a strappy lilac ribbed camisole along with lace embroidered on the neckline. She wear gold hoop earrings to complete her look. She went straight from boss babe to glam girl, and that’s the vibe we’re on board with.

Telugu superstar, Tamannaah Bhatia, who is also a part of the Indian delegation, will debut at Cannes for the first time. The actress opted for a bubble hem monochrome gown with a long tail designed by Gauri and Nainika. Joining the league of fashionistas at the festival, Tamannaah’s stunning look was designed by Shalina Nathani. She accessorized her outfit with diamond earrings and completed her look with dramatic eye makeup and nude lip color.

Urvashi Rautela wore a beautiful white tulle gown on the first day. The one-shoulder tiered gown featured ruffled sleeves and 3D appliques sewn to the dress.

13 Reasons Why, dazzling actress Katherine is also seen in a silver sparkling Prada creation. The Australian actress swear a custom-made Prada gown which is styled by Molly Dixon. The gown features a column of silver sequins and a ready-made sweeping train that resembles a bow. The Prada came with long sleeves with ruffled closure along with a plunging neckline. She wears minimal makeup which goes well with her twisted updo.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star was dressed in Alberta Ferretti’s chiffon slip dress styled by Charlene E Roxborough Konesker. It’s easy to see why black is the winner. We totally adore it that the ruffles are all chic and have heart-stealing party looks.

The 61-year-old actress was stunned at the opening night of the Cannes and Coupage (Final Cut) premiere on Tuesday. Julian wore a black Bottega Veneta gown for the event at the Palais des Festivals. The gown had a plunging neckline which goes with her look. Julianne left her neatly styled hair open and accessorized her look with a diamond and emerald necklace. We can say that her jewelry was on point.

R Madhavan wore an ensemble by ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra, in an all-black tuxedo suit with a shimmery collar that added glamor to the Cannes 2022 red carpet. Madhavan’s shoes were from Dolce & Gabbana and the look was completed with eyeshadow. The actor’s upcoming film “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” will premiere at Cannes on May 19.
