They tied the knot at Khandal in the presence of their close family and friends. Both Shibani and Farhan have been blessing their fans with drool-worthy photos from their wedding function! The bride’s tribe have a blast at her Mehndi function. Shibani laughs away as she is surrounded by close friends for the Mehndi traditions. The couple embraced into a quick hug at the mehndi function. Farhan kisses Shibani on the head as they hug. Their long love turning into a marriage would certainly be an emotional moment for both.

We kind of liked how Shibani ditched the heavy mehendi process. Instead, she inspects the mehendi at the hands of her friends. We love how the men have styled mehendi on their hands without adhering to the typical stereotypes. Everything about the wedding is so progressive and the easy-going mantra has been adopted so that everyone enjoys the best.

The bride enjoys a laugh with her mothers-in-law! As we said, the Akhtar family is all things progressive. They have normalized divorces and also destroyed the notion that the wife and ex-wife can’t get along. Shibani Dandekar is close with Honey Irani, Farhan Akhtar’s mother and also Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar’s wife. All 3 enjoy a light happy moment at the Mehndi function.

Beautiful Bride-to-be
Shibani Dandekar looks so beautiful in her subtle makeup look. She chose to go with a neutral-toned natural look for her mehndi function. The makeup artist for the day was Cassandra Kehren. The rose-tinted cheeks and nude lips look great for the mehndi look. Her hair was styled into a side-parted manner with wavy hair. She adorned a lilac flower, a white rose and baby breaths for her perfect bohemian look. The bridal hairstyle was done by Reena Dutta.
All About the Accessories!
Now, onto the accessories! She wore statement boho jhumka earrings. The silver set of earrings was from Amrapali Jewels. We loved the minimalistic approach of the bride-to-be. Shibani also wore a floral bracelet accessory. It has yellow and purple flowers along with baby breaths. It added vibrancy to the look.
Boho Mehndi Look
How quirky is the boho outfit Shibani chose for her mehndi! She looks stunning in the vibrant garara set. The outfit was designed by Payal Singhal, who is a close friend of Shibani. Payal Singhal and Nehali Kotian put together the boho event, as per the liking of Shibani. She captioned the photos, “What Boho Mehendi Dreams are made of! ⭐️ thank you @payalsinghal @nehalikotian“.
The colourful garara set had tassel details as a tie-up. The deep V-necked blouse had ruffled straps. We are totally loving the gorgeous and fun bohemian look Shibani donned. The quirky patterns on the outfit were extraordinary! The unique vibrant look was a supreme success at the event. And seems like Shibani loved everything about the mehndi function too!
