On March 16, Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad celebrated their nuptials with a lavish reception in Delhi. The two were married under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 earlier this year.

A few weeks after Swara Bhaskar announced her union with politician Fahad Ahmed, the couple is now ready to join in the wedding festivities, starting with the Haldi ceremony. Last week, Swara posted a glimpse of the pre-wedding activities where the bride and groom had haldi paste applied in a way similar to the festival of Holi.
Swara Bhaskar took to Instagram to show highlights of her pre-wedding events with the hashtag #SwaadAnusaar. She posted some romantic photos from the festivities and shared a video with montages of the bride, groom, and their families dancing and celebrating.
Additionally, gulaal was used to add a touch of Holi to the Haldi rituals. She captioned the video, “A Haldi ceremony that turned into Holi! Welcome to the festivities. #SwaadAnusaar has begun!”
Swara Bhaskar And Fahad Ahmad’s Mehndi Ceremony
Swara Bhaskar shared pictures and videos from her Mehendi ceremony and Sangeet evening on her Instagram stories.
She wore an orange ethnic outfit and posted a behind-the-scenes video of her preparation for the Mehendi ceremony as well as one of her eating chaat.
For her Sangeet night, she only shared a few glimpses, which likely included a Carnatic music performance and Qawwali.

Swara Bhasker took to her social media account recently on March 16, 2023, to share some gorgeous pictures from her qawwali night with her beau, Fahad Ahmad.
The duo both wore shades of blue for the event. Swara looked stunning in a navy blue velvet suit that had stunning gold zari prints.
She paired it with an olive green silk dupatta with bronze and gold lace edges. She finished her look with a messy side ponytail, glamorous makeup, and traditional jewelry such as a maang teeka, passa, nath, chaandbaalis, and lots of bangles.

In February, Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad got married and held a luxurious party in New Delhi on Thursday.
Some of the most prominent politicians in India, including Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Shashi Tharoor, Jaya Bachchan, and Supriya Sule, attended the reception. Both Swara and Fahad posted pictures of themselves on social media, with Swara donning a pink lehenga and Fahad wearing an ivory and gold sherwani.
