Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar tie the Knot in Traditional South Indian Style

Wedding bells are ringing as we witness yet another beautiful wedding celebration. Mouni Roy got hitched! And we found some adorable photos from the intimate wedding. Take a minute (or an hour, because we seriously can’t stop looking at the photos!) and relish the South Indian style wedding.

Nagin fame actress, Mouni Roy got married to Suraj Nambiar, who is an Investment banker based in Dubai. And the photos have just landed and they look lovely. These are not the regular wedding photos because the couple opted for a South Indian style wedding! And the photos are proof that it was a beautiful ceremony. They had both a South Indian and Bengali style wedding. And we are excited about getting double the photos!

The couple looks so in love here. The way Suraj is looking at Mouni is giving us major goals. Fans are totally loving this sweet photo. This sweet and simple wedding was a great way to celebrate their love with close friends and family. The wedding took place in Kerala traditions at Goa on 27th January 2022. The guest list included many of their friends from the industry. Mandira Bedi, ArjunBijlani, Meet Brothers, Aashka Goradia, Shivaani Malik Singh, Roopali Kadyan and Omkar Kapoor were some of the celebrities who attended the wedding.

Inside Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar Wedding

Devon ka Dev…Mahadev fame actress, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar tied the knot in the traditional South Indian style. Mouni looked divinely beautiful in her elegant white saree with a red border filled with golden silk work. The red and white combination saree made her look the prettiest on her wedding day. The simplicity of the outfit gave it a special effect. We love how Mouni opted out of conventional heavy sarees for her big day. She looked graceful in this simple and elegant white saree. She styled the outfit with grand ornaments for a royal look, which worked very well.

Suraj wore a  beige kurta with golden work on it. He paired the kurta with the traditional ‘mundu’ which is an important garment worn by the groom in a South Indian wedding.

The couple fell into a warm hug whilst surrounded by their loved ones. Such a sweet moment captured with perfection!

This candid moment captures so much joy as the lovebirds finally got married. They exchanged vows and also rose garlands. Both Mouni and Suraj look so happy here.

The couple was wedded off by close family and friends. The relatives of both the couple were enthusiastically coordinating the wedding.

Mouni had a fun time posing with her family. Mouni’s golden temple work accessories are gorgeous. They add so much grandeur to her wedding look. Her long temple necklace had a Ganpati idol and the choker looked lovely too. We also loved the temple tier patterned mang tikka and matha patti set. The stack of golden bangles and jhumkas made Mouni look like a true goddess! One more thing we loved about her South Indian look is the antique belt which holds the saree perfectly.

Mandira Bedi, who is a close friend of Mouni attended the wedding and also shared a photograph with the wedded couple.

Stay tuned for more photos from the wedding!
