The much-awaited wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is underway at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, with guests arriving at the venue.

Radhika Merchant’s wedding ensemble, designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, is a breathtaking tribute to the Gujarati ‘Panetar’ tradition, where brides exude elegance in red and white.
The stunning ivory Zardozi cut-work creation features a trailing ghagra with a detachable second trail, a sweeping 5-meter head veil, and a delicate tissue shoulder dupatta.
The ghagra is adorned with three striking red borders and intricate Naqshi, Saadi, and Zardozi embroidery.
The ensemble is further enhanced by lavish floral booties adorned with stones, sequins, tamba tikkis, and a touch of red Resham.
The head veil is a vision of delicate jaali and cut-work, while the detachable 80-inch trail adds grandeur to every step. A fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta completes the masterpiece, bringing dramatic flair to the entire silhouette.
For her vidai, Radhika wears Manish Malhotra. Radhika’s vidai outfit is a stunning collaboration between Indian heritage and modern design.
The blouse features intricate real gold karchobi work, inspired by the traditional abho and the rich textile legacy of Kutch, Gujarat. This pays homage to 19th-century artistry.
The blouse is paired with a multi-panelled Banarasi brocade lehenga in sunset hues, a beautiful tribute to India’s enduring elegance.
Complementing the ensemble is a veil with a lattice design on a vibrant red, as well as a masterfully woven Banarasi dupatta.
The entire vidai look seamlessly blends traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, making it a sartorial marvel befitting the momentous occasion.
