Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Pre-Wedding Celebrations, even though the actual wedding is not until July. The celebrations began in March with a grand “hastakshar” ceremony at the Ambanis’ home in Jamnagar, Gujarat. In May, the festivities continued with a four-day cruise through the Mediterranean, making stops in various locations. The cruise events started with a welcome lunch in Palermo, Sicily. That night, as the ship sailed up the Italian coast, the Ambanis hosted a formal party with a starry night theme.
Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant’s Wedding Celebration
On the first day of the cruise, Radhika Merchant wore a custom black gown with white chiffon, designed by London-based designer Robert Wun.
After spending a day in Rome, the Ambanis held a toga party on the cruise ship, and Radhika wore a custom toga designed by emerging New York-based designer Grace Ling.
On the third day, the cruise docked in Cannes, where the Ambanis hosted a masquerade ball at the Château de la Croix des Gardes, planned by event producer The Isle of You.
Radhika wore a custom Versace dress in shades of blue to match the colors of the Côte d’Azur.
The final night of celebrations took place in Portofino, where the Ambanis transformed the main square into an open-air market with food stalls.
Event planner Vincenzo Dascanio oversaw the design and florals, with tomatoes and Vespas as decorative accents evoking the la dolce vita.
Radhika wore a rare archival Yves Saint Laurent for Dior piece for this occasion.
