Cannes Film Festival is World’s biggest Film Festival that is organized every year. It was first founded in the year 1946 and it’s been 73 years since it has been celebrating world cinema. Film personalities from all around the world attend this prestigious film festival and the best films get awarded. France has always been known for it’s love for fashion and films. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been an ardent attendee of the Cannes Film Festival since nearly two decades and people look forward to her appearance every year. She has managed to look alluring in all her looks be it in a traditional saree or a style high gown. During Cannes 2016, she sported this purple lipstick that stunned everybody. She wore it with a blush pink intricately embroidered off shoulder gown. Even though her outfit was highly enchanting, her lipstick took away all the attention garnering more praises than criticism.
2. When Aishwarya’s Cinderella Dress Made The Heads Turn
Being a Cinderella is a dream of every girl but seems like it only came true for Aishwarya! She wore this icy blue Cinderella gown with huge flares and almost looked as if she has walked out of a fairy tale. The heavily embroidered off shoulder gown by Michael Cinco looks heavenly by all means. She kept her hair sleek open with a center partition. She kept her makeup minimal and accessorized the dress with just a few rings to let the dress have all the attention.
3. When Deepika Dressed Like A Hot Pink Butterfly
Deepika Padukone went all out with her outfit on the Cannes Film Festival 2018. She wore this Hot Pink Dress by the Ashi Studio looking as mesmerizing as a butterfly. The orgami gown was from Ashi Studio’s Studio Summer/Spring 2018 Collection. She accessorized her look with Diamond Earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. She tied her hair in a bun and went for a smokey eye makeup. She represented the Brand Loreal at the event.
4. When Aishwarya Got Decked In Gold Plates
Aishwarya Rai wore this Golden Metallic Mermaid Gown with an origami style fish tail. The single sided sleeve added drama to the already bold gown. The snakeskin effect on the outfit looked strikingly exquisite. However, the Jean Louis Sabaji gown didn’t go down well with most of the stylists and designers. While some designers complimented her for her bold choice, some looked disappointed. Nevertheless, the look still garnered a lot of attention.
5. When Kangana Rocked The Royal Highness Look
Kangana Ranaut wore this highly illustrious gold saree by Falguni and Shane Peacock. She paired the saree with a Mauve colored gloves and a ring over one of them. The wore the saree with an off shoulder blouse and a coordinated embossed belt. She completed her look with minimal makeup and a sleek bun with thick side curls. She represented the liquor brand Grey Goose at the event. Her look also garnered mixed reviews from people.
6. When Deepika Wore A Florescent Tulle Gown With A Turban
After her Hot pink dress in the Cannes 2018, people were looking forward to Deepika Padukone’s look in Cannes 2019 as well and she didn’t disappoint her fans even a bit. Her Giambattista Valli Couture gown stunned everyone with it’s astounding ruffles. Her florescent gown was paired with a belt and a bow and it didn’t end at just that. She also sported an Emily London Headdress which added to the bewitching look. She accessorized the outfit with Loraine Schwartz earrings and Stuart Weitzman heels. She dominated the red carpet like a pro and remained in the highlights beating all her contemporaries.
7. When Sonam Added A Train To Her Suit
Sonam Kapoor wore this Ivory Tuxedo Dress by Ralph and Russo and we couldn’t have asked for more. She looked jaw droppingly gorgeous in the outfit that gave her a boss lady vibe. The long train added drama to her couture and the plunging neckline dazzled on the diva. She accessorized her look with statement emerald and diamond earrings and necklace by Chopard and coordinated Jimmy Choo shoes. She aced the look like a fashion goddess giving us even more reason to love her prepossessing style.
