When the outer layer begins to damage, the hair begins to become inactive and unhealthy.Hair follicles are associated with the Sebaceous follicle, which releases oil naturally. Due to the damage to the skin, this gland does not work on dry hair.
  • The foremost reason could be the pollution. UV exposure and heat causes the moisture in your hair to disappear, drying.
  • The most common cause of stressful hair is insufficient shampoo. … Applying a condition to your roots can make your hair look delicate and flat.
  • Wrong! Drying and shampooing your hair both ensures glossy finish, but they can shine natural hair.
  • Any type of scalp that involves flakes, such as dandruff and scalp dry, is a double whammy of dullness. First, those dead skin cells come in contact with the natural oils in your scalp, as well as the two that wrap around your hair. “When they are distributed throughout the hair shaft, this affects how light comes from,” explains Fusco. Also, many anti-flake and anti-dandruff formulas can dry hair.
  • Even though your diet is more focused on health (e.g. vegetarian or vegan) than self-healing (hello, french fries!), You may miss the nutrients associated with shiny hair, Fusco said. A proper diet keeps your hairs healthy and shiny always. So, try avoid eating junk and go for the eatables that are going to provide nourishment to your hairs.
  • Sunbath, Chlorinate water, styling products and hair dryer also makes the hairs look dull.

Some more reasons of hair dullness:

  • This dullness could be genetic.
  • There could be some medical history.
  • Hair washing could be quote often than the required number of times.

You all must have heard ‘A stitch in a time saves nine’.

I know you all would be wondering what this is suppose to do with it but it is just to learn the importance of time, it makes it very important for all of us to repair the damage in time. Once our hairs are damaged completely it would be really difficult for us to treat with it in the later stages. Your hairs are the one which makes you more beautiful which adds up glow and confidence to you and in your life. So it’s the need of the hour to really do something for our hairs now.

This is how you can prevent the damage in the earlier stages

  • Choose the shampoo after properly testing your hair type and that suits well with your type. Don’t go nuts with the advertisements, stick to the one and use it properly in proper amounts. Do not keep changing your shampoo.
  • Condition your hairs properly, including the middle and the ends and leaving the roots.
  • Use curd once a week to keep the hairs nourished.
  • Oil your hairs properly before hair wash.

  • Do not rub your hairs with towel just after the hairwash. Rather keep them open for sometime to avoid your hairs from getting dull.
  • Avoid using dryer daily. It blows dry hair so much that it leads to dullness and it reduces the shine and smoothness and makes the hair look dull and frizzy.

So this is how you can take care of your dull hairs and make them frizz free and shiny smooth again.
