Everyone used to get that quirky tattoo and used to post pictures of them posing in a certain way and would post it everywhere. Well, we are happy to report that, that trend is back and no, you don’t need to tattoo it anywhere on your body. It is back in the form of nail art. The mustache manicure is all the rage right now amongst teenagers and adults alike. It is a very elegant yet quite simple style which allows us to accessorize and make it into a more glamorous look as per our wish.

Let’s Put A Mustache On The Nails

Ombre Nails

For this look, you are going to need to do an ombre look (preferably with light colors). Seal it with a top coat for a glossy look and then take a mustache-shaped bead and stick it onto your nails. This look is very simple; the nail polish and the bead complement each other very well.

Simple Mustache Nails

This is just a very simple look that does not need any hard work. All you have to do to get this look is to paint a nail-colored coat onto your nails. For the mustache design, take black nail polish and create two dots on each side and on the middle as well. Now, connect them not in a straight line, but with a curve. make necessary corrections and with this, you got yourself a simple mustache look. Use clear polish to protect your color and the design as well.

Mustaches And Manicures

To get straight to the point, this nail look needs a french manicure and a mustache design. Do a base coat of your natural nail color. Instead of making this colorful, choose black nail polish just like the look below and make it glossy and not matte.

Pink Mustaches

Make the mustache design a bit more quirky by maybe adding a face above the mustache or maybe even adding some lines or adding the color pink. Wait, why don’t you combine all these things together and just create one epic design? For this design, paint only half of your nails in pink color and add some horizontal lines to most of your nails (using a straight line sticker for this is very useful as you won’t be making a mess). Then to the nails that you have not added the lines, add your mustache and maybe paint some face to make it look cute and you are done. To keep the stickers and the design in place, add a transparent topcoat.

Instead of making it all about the mustaches, why don’t you add a bit of checkered pattern to it? To get the look below, give a few of your nails the mustache print and the rest of the nails with a plaid design. Before you give up on this, thinking how on earth you are going to draw a checkered pattern, wait we got you. Use a stamp or a sticker of the design that you like and fire away. And do not forget, a layer of top coat to seal all the goodness.

Matte Mustaches

As the title suggests, this look is all about matte life. To get the look below, paint all 4 nails a matte olive green color. Now add a base coat on the leftover nail and draw in your mustache design and you are done. This look is a change from all the designs as this is matte and not glossy like usual.
