Acne has been affecting a lot of people these days. It can make you lose confidence and has very bad effects on the skin. Taking care of oily skin is very difficult. Everyone wants acne-free, pimple-free skin, and must be wondering how to get that kind of skin.  When it comes to taking care of their skin, everyone wants to know the home remedies to do the same. As no one wants to use more chemicals than we already are.

So to keep your skin away from acne we have done research into home remedies best suited for acne and can be done without consuming much of your time and still come out clean and clear. These ingredients can be found in your kitchen and are very easy to make. These packs are safe for the skin and will not cause any harm to your skin.

1. Curd and Besan

To get rid of nasty blotches apply yoghurt as it has anti-bacterial properties which help to keep our skin nourished whereas besan has alkalising properties and is traditionally used to get clear skin.

  • 1 tablespoon of Besan {Gram Flour}
  • 1 teaspoon of curd
  • Mix them well to get a consistent paste.

Apply this paste on your face or the affected area and leave it there until it dries. Clean it with lukewarm water once it is dry. Remember to not go out in the sunshine for at least 2 hours after you have applied the pack.

2. Fenugreek pack

Traditionally known as methi seeds,  this is not only good for your skin but also has some amazing effects on your hair also. so this pack is multi-purpose. Fenugreek seeds have Vitamin C & K which help to remove blemishes from the skin.

  • Take 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds.
  • Soak them in water overnight.
  • The next morning take those seeds along with the water in which it was soaked and mix them in a mixer
  • Apply this paste with the help of the brush on your face and keep it for 20 minutes.
  • This pack has cooling effects on your skin as well.

Apply this paste twice a week for acne-free skin.

3. Haldi and Aloe Vera Pack

Turmeric is considered to have medicinal value and can heal wounds as well. Thanks to its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, this can work wonders on your skin.  Aloe Vera helps to reduce the breakouts in the skin and gives it a smooth texture.

  • Add a teaspoon of haldi powder to Aloe Vera gel.
  • Add some rose water to create a paste.
  • You can also use water if you don’t have rose water.
  • Apply this paste and leave it for 10-15 minutes.

Aloe vera helps to remove excess oil and makes the sizes of pores small. Apply this pack once a week and don’t go out in the sun’s rays as it can be harmful to your skin.

4. Lemon and Honey pack

Lemon can be used for various beauty purposes such as lip exfoliator, lightening of the skin, natural astringent, teeth whitener and many more. Lemon is filled with rich properties which can be used to heal our skin. As it is a rich source of  Vitamin C which is essential for our skin let’s use it to prepare a pack.

  • Use some lemon juice and mix it well with the honey.
  • Apply this pack with the help of cotton.
  • Leave it on your skin for 10 minutes at max.
  • Clean it with cold water.

After applying lemon on your skin you should not go out as the sun makes your skin hypersensitive and can often trigger a reaction.

5. Lemon, Tea tree oil and egg white pack

Tea tree oil is a popular choice for treating acne and eggs are considered good agents for deep cleaning this pack can help your skin to great lengths.

  • 1 egg white
  •  Mix Diluted lemon juice
  • 3 drops of tea tree oil.
  • Spread it all over your face and keep it until it dries.

Wash your face with normal or Luke warm water. Egg white has a tightening effect on the skin and lemon acts as an agent of skin lightening. This pack can help you treat your acne.

6. Multani mitti

Multani mitti also known as Fullers earth has clay minerals in it. Multani mitt is very popular in South India and is used for various purposes there. It is used as a hair mask also.

  • Take Multani mitti in a bowl.
  • Put some yoghurt in it.
  • Make a thick paste.
  • Apply it on your skin and keep it until it dries.

Multani mitti has a cooling effect on your skin and keeps your skin smooth and cool. It gives a lot of rest to your skin.  Apply it twice a week.  You can also put some pose water in it.

7. Honey and Cinnamon

The anti-fungal, antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties of cinnamon help treat acne. And also helps the blood to flow in the skin. Honey is produced by enzyme activity, plant matter, and live bacteria coming together to create a powerful ingredient with hundreds of practical uses.

  • Mix honey with cinnamon powder well.
  • Create a paste.
  • Apply it on your skin and leave it to dry. This will help to extract oil from your skin as well.

Honey is considered when you want to lose weight and Deven when you want to gain weight. Similarly, it is effective for oily skin as well as for dry skin. Helps to treat acne and scaly skin problems.

8. Neem and Haldi Pack

Both neems and Chandi have abundant medicinal properties which are good for blood and skin. They help treat pimples, cleanse our blood, and heal our wounds and with their anti-fungal properties they are one of the main sources to treat acne.

  • Make some neem paste out of the leaves.
  • Add haldi to it.
  • Use some water o make the paste not too thick but not too liquid.
  • Apply it on your skin evenly.
  • Keep it for 20 minutes.

You can put this pack 2-3 times a week as it has no harm to the skin at all. It will help your skin one way or the other.

9. Milk and Nutmeg

Nutmeg popularly known as “jaayphal” in Hindi helps to remove scars caused by acne or sun spots and also helps to reduce skin pigmentation.

  • Take one teaspoon of nutmeg.
  • Put some raw milk in it.
  • You can add saffron to add to the glow
  • Put it on your face and let it sit there for 20 minutes.
  • Wash it off with normal. water.

Use this pack once a week for some glow that can be seen instantly, this pack can keep you moving.

10. Mint and Honey pack

Mint contains salicylic acid which helps in curing acne. Honey acts as an agent of moisturising the skin and removing blemishes from the skin.

  • Grind some mint leaves with very little water.
  • Add honey to the mint paste.
  • Once you get a paste.
  • Apply it on your skin with the help of a brush.
  • Wash it off with cold water.

This pack will keep your skin clean and helps to get the glow.
