Step 1: Clean Face with Green Tea Water
Put a green tea bag in a glass and pour well-boiled water in it and let it cool down for 5 to 10 minutes. After the water colour changes, use the green tea water to clean your face and neck well using dipped cotton or tissues.
Rich with anti-oxidants and nutrients, green tea will be an effective treatment for acne and oily skin. It will help to lessen sebum secretion which may cause acne. Green tea helps to lighten skin tone, slow down skin aging, fight inflammation and also in protecting the cells.
Step 2: Scrub Face with Green Tea
Next, get the green tea bag that was taken away from the water in the step-1. Take a bowl and remove the green tea from the bag and then add honey and rice flour in it. Mix well to get a proper mixture which can be used as a scrub. Add little green tea and water with the mixture and apply on it your face. Scrub your face well for 1 to 2 minutes and let the mixture settle in your face for 5 minutes. Then wash your face with water and dry your skin using a towel.
Honey is naturally anti-bacterial, so it is great for acne treatment and prevention. Using honey on your face can eliminate dead cells and will brighten your skin. Antiseptic and has anti-bacterial properties help you to fight acne by keeping your pores free from oily dirt and at the same keeping your skin hydrated and tight to give you a clear complexion. Rice flour or rice powder has amazing absorbing properties. It helps to remove excess oil from the skin, thus reducing the chances of blocked pores and pimples. Rice flour absorbs the extra oil and freshens up the skin. Rice flour helps to get rid of acne, blemishes and dark circles to give whitening skin.
Step 3: Steaming
Bring boiled water in a bowl and add essential herbal oils in it. Hold your face over the steaming for about 5 minutes.
Steam helps to open up your pores and loosen build-up of dirt for a deeper cleanse. Opening up your pores also softens blackheads, making the dirt easier to remove. You should steam your face not more than once in a week. If your pores are clogged, you can steam your face twice a week.
Step 4: Apply the charcoal peel-off mask
Apply the charcoal peel-off mask on your face evenly leaving the eyes. Let it be in your face for 10 to 15 minutes. After that peel off the mask in the opposite direction and rinse your face with normal water.
Activated charcoal helps to pull bacteria, toxin, dirt and excess oil from the skin. If it is a peel-off mask, it also works as a perfect exfoliator, ridding the skin of dead cells. Depending on the needs of your skin, it can be used from one to three times a week, as it will cleanse your pores and neutralize some toxins.
